No muggles were actually allowed on the Forbidden Journey today, but were allowed "Castle Tours"(walk thru's of the extensive preshow/queue are). I wasn't too bummed, as I got my chance to ride a few times already on other days.
Proffesor Lockhart's moving pictures, featuring Kenneth Branagh, who always reminds me of the late Robert Palmer.

More of the Wizarding World...

Seuss one is particularly amusing, with the way it sort of merges two different generations of kid-lit.

I saw these guys and girls in the cammies and immediatley thought, "It's Dumbledore's Army!". I found one ride operator on "Forbidden Journey" who got the reference.

"Something, something, something...Dark Rides!

Here's a little something that, as they say on "Tower of Terror", you won't read about in any guide book (that I know of, at least). During my trip to Florida, I had time to drive up to Jacksonville, of which Mayport (my old duty station in the Navy) is sort of a "suburb". While I was there, quite serendipidously, I ended up taking a tour of the Sally Corporation. Inside this unassuming structure near the Jacksonville Landing, is a sort of "Walt Disney Imagineering", but for non-Disney parks. Been on Universal's E.T. ride? Those figures were the work of Sally.
You can check out their official website( http://www.sallycorp.com/), and enjoy some of the pictures I was able to take on my tour.

Size does matter! This test version of one of Hermione's "flying benches" sits outside the "Forbidden Journey" ride. People who are a little on the "big" side may not be able to ride.
Strange brew? Had to have one of the famous "butterbeers". How can I describe it? Imagine a really good cream soda, with a frothy, vanilla-like "head". That's butterbeer. I'm sitting in the "Hogshead" salloon, which is connected to the "Three Broomsticks". That's the dining room for "Three Broomsticks" behind me.
